i see religious people from every religion quoting their holy book. how do they know that its correct or true? there is no evidence for any miracles or divine power in any of the stories. you cant use your holy book to prove your holy book, thats circular logic. BE NICE, im tired of all the hostility in this section.

also what happened to wwjd? how can some one be hateful and still think that they are a good religious person?

say you are religious and they are an atheist or vice versa.

like praying for someone to be straight (if you think its a choice) or praying that someone finds god. if not aren't prayers like this pointless? full disclosure im an atheist.

i switched to e- cigs and i noticed i could breath easier. and i really think i could use them to stop completely. but i cant find any conclusive information that says they are either better or worse for you than normal cigarettes. can you direct me to a reputable site?

there is some tension between believers and non-believers.

so i ask you what would the opposing side have to do to make you stop arguing?

not all atheists make fun of believers and this site is not the best representation of any religious group or atheist. i see a lot of hate toward atheists on here from christians, and i always think to myself that jesus would not act this way at all.

and yes i know some atheists can be rude and mean too but it seems hypocritical for christians if they truly believe what jesus taught. please be respectful in your answers.

this is an opinion question and can everyone please not be rude or mean. i wish people would grow up and realize there are going to be people we disagree with and we will have to learn to live with it.

my mom hates her job and i hate her being there. she wants to quit but doesn't think she can find another job because of her age.
