Why wont my father let me get a summer job?
It is not during school only the summer. My mom says it alright buy every time i ask my father he says no or the job is far away.(only 2 miles from our house).

You need to talk to your father about this without getting upset or whining. Is having reliable transportation the issue, he doesn't think you're responsible, he doesn't think you're old enough....etc. You need to find out the underlying reason behind his answer. If you continue to try to talk to your dad about it and he still doesn't open up behind his reasoning, maybe talking to your mother about it will help. It sounds like your mom is on your side in the situation.
