Mother refusing to let father see his daughter?
My partner has a 4 year old daughter from a previous relationship. There are no court orders in place or any legal documents stating when he can see his daughter. At present he gets to see her for a few hours once a month. More often than not the mother cancels any arrangements or just doesn't turn up. He wants to see her more often but the mother refuses to let him. He is on the daughters birth certificate and pays child support. Since there are no court orders in place is she legally allowed to just refuse to let him see his daughter.
I have a child with him also so therefore I know for a fact he is a wonderful father. She has never given any reason why she won't let him see her.

BECAUSE THERE IS NO COURT ORDER- that is WHY she is able to deny him visitation.
he needs to get a court order. other wise no one will intervene on his behalf even though he pays child support. right now she can move the child out of the country and the police could not do a thing about it.
i am willing to bet the child support is not from a court order either? meaning he is probably paying more then he has to.

No, she is not but your partner needs to go through the Court system to guarantee his rights. I strongly suggest that, if he does not already, that he document each and every incident that occurs like that. Him just saying so won't be enough to prove his case.
