how long can an open jar of rague be left in the refrigerator. I used it for lasagna?
I had about 3/4 cup of Rague sauce still in the jar in my refrigerator and used it for my lassgna. It has been in my refrigerator for 2 weeks or more. I saw no mole and it tasted OK. It is cooking in the oven will I be OK?

I don't usually keep leftovers more than a week, but if it smelled and tasted okay you might be fine. I wouldn't make a habit of it though. Tomatoes don't have a high acidity to ward off bacteria, but most commercial sauces add preservatives.
