How do I improve my run distance/time?

To try and lose weight I have been running (nearly) everyday since August. I have run at least 3 days a week and I try to get in 5. I started out a 1 mile and slowly built my way into doing 3 mi. if the conditions are right, normally I can get the 3 miles though. After all this time I have never truly timed my self because it would distract me and I could never get as far, yesterday however I decided to do 1 mile as hard as I could and time it. I have been guessing around a 6 min mile time, so I was surprised to see 6:52 on the screen. My question is in order to improve my distance and time should I keep running only a mile and rebuild like I did the first time :/ or keep running as far as I can?

Thanks!

PS I am obviously not in poor shape, I am just trying to cut extra weight to define myself more. if you want to suggest something demanding that will work I'm all for it.

ok... a million.you should run at-least 3-4 circumstances a week. 2.commence out with short distances, taking a while and gradually getting quicker and greater of a distance. commence out small then get larger 3.it extremely relies upon on how plenty do you extremely need "the prize" for me it took like 6-7 days 4.i understand. i'm the right way. get a chum or as we call it a "working chum" and stay mutually pushing one yet another to do greater acceptable than the different. I consistently have a sort of a music participant that the songs have quite solid beats. I extremely tend to run quicker with quicker beats in my music. i admire music so once I run i'm able to take heed to to my songs and get a helpful exercising consultation
