Is the gross hypocrisy that is common among professed Christians a condemnation of their works?

Religion is riddled with hypocrisy.

If jesus is supposed to have preached forgiveness, 'turn the other cheek', 'love the sinner hate the sin' etc....then how come the bible belt states execute as many of their own citizens as China and Iran?

The professing Christian who uses the dagger of hypocrisy enters the fold, being nothing but a wolf in sheep's clothing - worries the flock more than the lion on the outside. There is no weapon so deadly as a Judas-kiss. Inconsistent professing Christians injure the Gospel more than the sneering critic or the heretic.

Who are you talking to? Speak to your brethren. Non believers don't need a cyber lecture from you. Jesus loved us when we were sinners. He loved me then, and loves me the same now. I've changed, his love for me has stayed constant.

Multiple causes: 1. Man (which involves most Christians' (is Christ a Christian?)) are usually quick-sighted and thus inconsistent (hypocritical). 2. Man has allowed devil so as to add deviations to God's phrase and too almost always Man has now not exposed them (sure plural) at this time, (which has additionally produced too many Christian denominations).
