Why does so many people try to support secondhand smoke theories when we all know it's a lie?
The secondhand smoke scare tactic was already reviewed by a court system of which it failed so miserably the EPA was accused of flat out frauding their data analysis, yet for some reason million of people and organization just keep lying about it. Why can't they just accept they were wrong?

“There is evidence in the record supporting the accusation that EPA ‘cherry picked’ its data” … “EPA's excluding nearly half of the available studies directly conflicts with EPA's purported purpose for analyzing the epidemiological studies and conflicts with EPA's Risk Assessment Guidelines” (p. 72)
Guess I should clarify "theories". Any air-born material can and usually does trigger asthma attacks. That doesn't make secondhand smoke any kind of EXCEPTION to that rule nor does it rule out any other air-born substances. By "theories", I'm talking about these ridiculous claims that smoking is a health hazard to NORMALLY healthy non-smokers. Lets we what other ridiculous excuses we can come up with.

Firstly I am a smoker.
It's not actually a lie, secondhand smoke is indeed harmful. The grey area is quantities and exposure. A cigarette has a filter which removes some of the more dense harmful smoke, those around you are breathing in the unfiltered version. However, in order to have the full harmful effects of actually smoking a cigarette, they'd have to follow you around all day every day. The point is, for someone who has never smoked at all, the risks of being around those who smoke are increased. By how much, nobody really knows.

Let's see. Maybe because they don't want people smoking. Well atleast they don't want new smokers. People like to use these scare tactics to ofcourse scare people into not doing certain things. And another motive actually might be the publicity. It could actually be making an income. So even though they know they are wrong, keeping the argument might actually be helping them making money...just my theory. Most misunderstanding stuff leads to someone getting alot of money

Ok so I didn't even read all of your long winded question. I don't care what facts you think you may have. All I know is that I'm a smoker. My son has really bad asthma in the winter and listening to him wheeze and cough in the middle of the night made me feel so bad for him. Then I realized that it was my stupid a$$ fault. I would smoke in my room at night. Once I figured out that maybe it was me, I stopped smoking in my room at night. Which by the way is all the way across the house. And wouldn't you know it...my son stopped hacking his little lungs out at night once I stopped smoking in my room at night. So say whatever you want, second hand smoke has bad effects on people. Period!

When I walk down the street and see smokers, I steer way clear. I walk to right to the left side of the pavement, second hand smoke makes me cough a lot and it stinks.
