Your first amendment rights are very secure. You are just ignorant and don't know what your first amendment rights are. The first amendment guarantees your right to "peacefully" redress grievances against the government. You can get a soap box and stand on it and tell anyone that will listen that you oppose certain government policies or take out ads in the media.

You Do Not have a right to say anything you want. You can be sued for lying about someone, it is called slander, you can not lie in court, it is called perjury and you go to jail for it. You can not lie to a federal officer, you will go to jail for it. You can not use profanity in public, it is disorderly conduct. You can not swear in a court or public hearing, you will go to jail for contempt. You can't make false police reports or you go to jail, Even Porno must be kept in brown paper bags instead of on display in store windows. I could go on all day listing all the things you can't say.

The constitution gives you the right to not say anything if you can't answer without committing a crime or incriminating yourself. You were not smart enough to exercise your fifth amendment rights and say nothing.

It is impossible to POLITELY tell anyone to f*** off. While swearing at an officer is not a crime in itself, it is likely to prompt them to exercise whatever discretion they have in the situation against you.

Badge203: The problem with suggesting people read amendments is that they are written in English, and too many products of public schools never learned to comprehend English.

If you really did say this (which I doubt) then you were cited legally

And before you come on here throwing around amendments, you should probably read them first

Your ignorance is only surpassed by your stupidity.

You can not possibly tell someone to politely f off. Either you are polite, or you tell them to f off. You can't do both.

Seeing you have no grasp of common sense, it is no surprise you got ticketed.

^ The person above me. I think it's a big pet peeve to many when people throw around the constitution like they own it. Grow up

May not be the best idea but it's not illegal.
