Beginner Full Body Workout help?

So i have been working out for maybe 2 weeks now. Ive gone with one of my friends and have basically followed his schedule, so that i could get a feel for things and just start doing something. Anyaway i decided to make my own routine. I did some research and from what i have learned for begginners doing a full body workout is the best. Also i have decided to go every other day. So go on Monday, wednesday, friday, sunday, etc..

My goal is to gain muscle mass, and obviously strength, im pretty skinny too.

anyway here is what i have come up with.

Full Body

Done every other day.

-Barbell Bench press 4*5

-Pull Ups 3*8

-Barbell Squats 4*5

-Overhead Barbell Press 3*8

-Barbell Curls 3*8

-Overhead Dumbbell Triceps Extensions 3*8

Please give me tips and recommendations on this routine.

Wrong workout for you 6 exercise in 3 day wow sounds good but is not. Need to be one exercise every day for five days or even 6 but not 6 exercise in 3 days, 5 sets of 10 reps, in every thing you do.

Day#1. curls for one hour and i do not mean just regular curls, but also every variation there is.

Day # 2. legs are squats, and then go onto other leg exercise for one hour also.

Day # 3. triceps extension or kicks in different forms for one hour.

Day # 4. Stomach hit it hard for one hour and in different ways., here you want to work it to hundreds of reps in one set each.

Day # 5. dumbbell presses, flat bench, incline bench, and delcine bench, here is where you can use your arms again if you want and also include fly's into the chest exercise as they are real good for the chest also.

Now you can rest saturday and sunday then start all over again.

Notice i have given your arms plenty of time to rest and not just over night, but at least two days as all the muscles in your body need to be worked out at different times to get the best results. need more advice add me as for push ups if you really have the energy to do them then do them after your curl work out.
