Why should I give a damn about the environment IF...

...in this environment so many stupid idiots want mandatory registration (meaning of course paying big$$$$) for riding a gawddamn bicycle.

Honestly, Australia is turning into Nazi land.

If it comes to that, I'll simply ride 'illegally' and if the bullies in blue (law) are going to causing me trouble, then I simply won't give a rat's as$ about the environment anymore and simply do my bit polluting it with car exhaust fumes instead of environmentally friendly alternatives such as riding a bike.

The ball is in the court of those dictator politicians and the idiots that egg them on!

Well, I live in Canada and we don't have bike registration, and I don't really understand the rational for it. Sounds like a money grab on the face of it. I occasionally have libertarian leanings as well. In the end though I'm not really sure what the correlation is though between overbearing government and being environmentalist. Sounds like trying to punish the government by polluting the earth and causing global warming tends to only punish those least able to move or cope with the pollution/change in sea levels. In that sense it kind of seems like smacking the hobo on the street because your boss chewed you out at work.

Furthermore, doing good is not for the government but for the nature, the earth that we live on, the land that support us, and ... and ... and ...
