People in heaven are so preoccupied with worshipping God and enjoying the glories of heaven that it does not seem they would have significant interest in what is happening here in hell or on earth.

Eternal torture, a concept taken from a mishmash of pagan religions, would make God an incredible jerk, to say the least. But, plainly speaking, there is no reason for people who chose their reprobate natures over purity to continue to exist in any place.
