What is the oldest movie you have ever seen?

I've seen a lot of silent films from 1915-1925 that I can hardly recall the names of but here are a few below.

I've also seen the film that was declared first, the Garden Scene, and early motion films. And I've seen many many films from the 1920-1940s. One favorite series was The Thin Man (1934). Then there's Gone with the Wind and the Wizard of Oz, (both 1939). Frankenstein and Dracula (1931) the Mummy (1932).

The silent films I do remember are:

Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde (1920)

Nosferatu (1922)

Phantom of the Opera (1925)

woops, can't forget Metropolis (1927), a classic

What Is The Oldest Movie

The oldest movie I have ever seen was only 2 seconds long. It was a short picture of people walking in a garden. It was called Roundhay Garden Scene and was made in 1889 or 1890.

The oldest movie on T.V. I have ever seen was a vampire movie made in the 1930's. It was black and white and had subtitles for you to read. It was shown on the Turner Classic Movie station.

Birth of a Nation, Voyage Dans La Lune, Laurel & Hardy, Keystone Kops, and the Charlie Chaplin films. If you want a really creepy horror movie, watch the original Nosferatu

I wouldn't exactly call it a movie as we think of movies today though since it only lasts a few seconds. But it's the oldest movie of any kind I have ever seen.

Probably the 1939 film Of Mice and Men.

The Phantom of the Opera (1925)

I saw it with live organ music. It's an experience not to be missed, if you ever have the chance.

I have a dvd version of a movie made in 1942. It is a live-action version of The Jungle Book.
