Is my foot/toe broken?
My sister threw my textbook to me a couple days ago and I failed to catch it and the corner of it fell directly on my foot/toes. Very painful.
I've had a very noticeable bruise there will some swelling. Although the swelling has gone down by now.
It's sometimes it hurts a lot, but other times it doesn't. Tonight it was bothering me a lot and when I got home I looked at my foot and an orangish-brownish (like rust) spot was there with the bruising. Not your typical bruise. Also, the pain is very different than a bruise.
I know it's not a major break, but I think I might have a hairline fracture or something like that. What do you think? And will it heal on its own?

Get it checked out. You never know. And if it is a fractures, you're walking and putting weight on it will only make it worse or slow down the healing process.
