How do you search for open questions in the "new" yahoo answers?
There used to be a filter where you could do a search for only questions that have yet to be voted on but I do not see that now with the way yahoo answers is now just a way to sort by newest. But when I do a long tail search often the results that come up are archived and I do not have the ability to get 10 points by winning the question.

To see your Q&A on the new format, The easiest way is go to your home page
Beside your avatar there is the # of Points.. # of your Best Answers ...# of your Questions and # of your Answers
Just click which of those you want to view they are links.
Click # answers and it shows your Open, In voting and Reference (resolved)
When you go to a category page it will show the open voting options at the top.
See here for all categories http://answers.yahoo.com/#/dir/index
Your Q&A are not shown by pages anymore but by endless scrolling as pages only load 20 at a time.
When you have questions you answered go to voting you get a notice on your home page saying "Your answered question is open for voting"
There is a MORE link and the options on there are -- Saved Searches-- My Network-- My Watchlist
On the ALL link the options are
My Questions----My Answers---My Followed Questions-----My Network's Questions-------My Network's Answers--- My Network's Followed
There is a video tutorial that will show you where things are on the new format.

I am looking at your question in the list - and at the head of the list is a bar with the three options - Open, In Voting, and Reference (which has replaced Closed).

I know what you mean. I just do this now: Click on Answers Home, and then click on Recent to see all of the new questions coming in.
