  • What is this brownish line extending from my belly button down?

I'm 16 and have had it for as long as I can remember. It's not a line of hair, it just looks sort of like a very thin, brownish line. You can only see it if you look up close. Just straight down my lower stomach and fades as it get further down. What could this be from?

  • Would the school bus pick me up if I live in a different county?

I'm currently home schooled, but I want to attend a public high school this fall. Long story, but I don't really want to go to the high school in my county. If I went to the one in my neighboring county, about 20 minutes away, would the school bus pick me up? It seems like I've heard that they only pick up students in the district? Would my parents have to drive me? Options....??? Thanks!

  • What could I do with a History major?

I'm pretty interested in History and I'm considering getting a major or minor in it when I go to college, but what do I do with this after college? Are there any good, well paying jobs that I can get with a major or minor in history?

And if you have experience in this field, any advice?

    Thanks!

  • When a place that teaches karate says "$75 a month".....?

does that mean you can take a class any time you want during that month, or once a week or something like that?

I know every place has a different policy, but I'm just wondering if anyone who's taken karate know's what they mean when they say "this price per month".

Thanks in advance! I give points, so please take your time!

  • Would a ziploc bag work to keep my camera dry?

I don't plan on submerging it underwater. I just want to take it down a tube slide, where there may be some splashing. If anyone has done this before, did it work well? Any tips? Thanks!

  • What color swimsuit would look the best on me?

I have fairly tan skin and brown hair. I'm usually drawn to blues and purples, but I don't know if those actually look good on me. If it helps, my eyes are hazel.

    Thanks!

  • What to use instead of vegetable oil?

I'm making enchilada sauce and it calls for 3 Tbs. vegetable oil. My mom won't buy that for some reason (she thinks it isn't healthy or something...). So what should I use instead of that? I was thinking maybe butter, but I don't really know.

    Thanks!

  • Need help with Wacom.com downloads?

So I just got a Intuos Pen Tablet for Christmas. So today I went on the website to download my free software that comes with it and did the Sign Up and Registration. Then I chose the products I wanted to download (Autodesk Sketchbook Express and ArtRage 3 Studio) and clicked Download on the first one. For about ten minutes it was loading and I was starting to get impatient, so I went to Download on my computer and I couldn't see any trace that the thing was downloading at all. It just keeps loading! And it says I only get two chances to download it, so I don't want to use those up and be stuck.

When will it start to download? Do I need to do something? Should I just wait a while?

  • Need help substituting for a recipe?

Hi, I'm making slow cooker mac & cheese and among other things, it calls for:

    1 cup Cheddar cheese

    1 cup Fontina cheese

    1 cup Provolone cheese

I have the Cheddar cheese, but not the two others! (Never even heard of Fontina...)

Is there anything I can use to substitute? I have Mozzarella.

What do I do? I know I should probably just wait on this recipe, but I REALLY want to make it tonight!

    Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

  • Ideas for something a homeschooler could do to make friends?

So, I'm a 15 year old girl and I'm home schooled. But I'm not the stereotypical weird and shy homeschooler!

I want to make some friends because most of the time I'm just at home doing schoolwork which gets to be really boring.

My town is really small and there aren't a lot of things to do in it unless you go to public school. There is sort of a drama club, but again, you have to go to the school to be take part.

Any suggestions on something I could do? I don't like sports very much and I've already been in 4-H, but I quit, so don't suggest that.

Please take your time answering; I'm patient and I'll give the points to the best answer, not the first.

    Thank you so much!

  • Dad want to invite his friend to everything! I'm sort of mad, am I overreacting?

Okay, so my dad has this buddy that he works with and they're really good friends. The guy's wife just died this past summer and at Thanksgiving our dad had invited him to have the meal with us. That was just fine, I totally understand that he should spend Thanksgiving with some friends. It was a nice gesture on my dad's part and I get it.

But now our dad has invited him to spend Christmas with us too! This seems like too much to me. Christmas has always been a strictly family thing for us. And we all open presents in the morning in our pajamas, so I wouldn't want this old guy hanging around (he's not a creepy old man, but it's just..weird).

Am I overreacting? How would you feel about this?
