What happens after bunion pins are removed?

I had a bunionectomy and some plates put into my right big toe in December. The pin is coming out on the 17th of this month. What happens after the pins are removed? Do I magically go back to work? Do I need a few more weeks off? Can I drive? What are the next steps? The pin goes from the middle inner sole of my foot all the way up to the inside of my big toe.

Nothing happens essentially. You are able to walk and go back to work essentially. You will still have some swelling, but that is it
