does your cat mind going for car rides and walking on a leash?

Once in a great while I see someone with a cat in the car that seems completely content to be there. Sometimes I see them walking on a leash. Does your cat mind car rides/walking on a leash. Also does anyone know any statistics on how many cats do not mind this kind of thing?

I have show cats - all of them like car riding and staying in hotels (they act like kids in the hotel rooms). I don't leash train my cats since they are 100% inside cats.

My mom is a big cat person and we had cats me entire life growing up. Everytime we had them in the car they would meow the entire time and cry. I would guess if a cat spent enough time in the car they would grow used to it but I've never owned a cat who liked car rides. As for leashes I tried to put cats on leashes when I was a kid and wanted a dog but they never had any of it. You would need a harness since cat collars usually snap on and off. When we didn't live in a town as a kid my out door cat would walk with us but never on a leash.

Cats can be trained to walk on a leash usually you have to start them as a kitten.

No, my cat doesn't even let me carry or touch him; but wants to constantly play!
