Is she obviously cheating, or am I paranoid?
My GF has two children with an ex. The ex lives out of state, so he is staying in her house for a few days to spend time with the kids. She insists that nothing is going on between them, and that they have both dated other people since etc. On one hand, I feel like a naive fool if I say "ok, makes sense", but then if I say she is cheating, I worry that I may be paranoid and pessimistic, which would hurt her, if she actually is faithful. So my question is this: In the history of the world, have two exes lived together for a week or so, and it did not result in intercourse? Does that actually exist?
To Darwin. I forgot to mention a few things that may be relevant. One, when I met her and she discussed why they broke up (I won't say), it was something horrible that she says made her hate him. Secondly, she confesses and gets remorseful over things I would have never even found out about (for example, she confessed and apologized profusely because she says she accidentally caught herself flirting with someone during work), yet, she sounds fine during the time the ex is there. what I mean is that she has shown herself trustworthy by confessing things that I wouldn't have even known about, so it would be strange that she would cheat in me, and act/sound fine, yet be remorseful about flirting.

Im gona say yes its possible. I lived with my ex wife for 2 months nothing happen. Now as far as a girlfriend I have never done that but my question to you is why cant the ex get a hotel room to spend time with the kids. I dont know about that one.

Perhaps I am gullible, BUT I doubt that as cordial as they might be to each other, he is her past, you if you work out are her future. That she puts the welfare and happiness of her young children before yours, is normal and commendable. If you feel her priorities are misplaced, her children over you, then perhaps this is a sign that you are not right for her or any single mother because if they are of any value as a person there children will always come before you.
I lived with an ex for months slept in a separate room, and avoided her at all times our daughters were not present.
Will she still see you while he is visiting, have you asked her and what did she say?

Yes shes cheating on you. If she has 2 kids with that guy and they are staying together for a week in my opinion she is cheating on you sorry!

It is not normal to have them do that. Dont be stupid, they are having sex. Put your foot down like a man and let her know that its not happening, this wont be the last time it will happen again until you do something.
