You really, really need to see the psychiatrist. This NEEDS to be dealt with.
Look at it this way: because you are aware you have an anger problem, you are now accountable for it. What are you going to tell G_d, or a judge about the death of your daughter? "Oh, I knew I had an anger thing, but I did not want to go to the psychiatrist."
Right.
Look at it like this: If you knew the neighbor had an anger problem and had blackouts where he does not remember what he said or did. What would the judge (or G_d) say when you let the neighbor babysit your daughter?
You have a moral and LEGAL obligation to protect your wife and daughter from harm. That means you need to man up and see the psychaitrist!!!
BTW: I know, it is not your fault. You are not a bad man. In fact, you are a good and caring father, which is why this is bothering you. I am just laying it all out in a different light so that you can see it from a logical point of view. A good and caring dad and husband sees the psychiatrist and gets treatment for the temper (be it meds or just therapy or a combination, you just man up and do it!).
