How strict is the navy on there weight policy?
I am a male. 5'7 and I currently weigh 182 lbs. I am only supposed to be 175. Somehow they screwed up at MEPS and put me in as 69in which is 5'9.
Now I am screwed because I just got this info and I leave for the navy on June 10th. I am athletic I used to play football wrestle and karate so I know I can handle the boot camp. Plus I spent 4 months memorizing commands, facing movements, etiquette and all sorts of stuff.
I don't know if losing like 10lbs in 3 weeks is possible but if so I would love to know.

Stop eating the food choices that put or keep weight on, and eat more foods that take weight off.
Sugar is the dietary villain. Starches are a close second. So, minimize or avoid food and beverage products that list sugar (any type) as one of the first five ingredients and starchy foods like breads, pastas, cereals, rice, and potatoes. Opt for fresh foods rather than proceeded foods that may be high in sugar, sodium, MSG, and mystery chemicals.
During this time, strive to eat more proteins like eggs, meats, fish or fowl along with healthy fats like avocados, olive oil, coconut oil, and butter. so you stay sated longer and do not snack between meals. Contrary to what our fat phobic diet advice has been in for the past 40 years, studies have shown that fats missing from our diet is the problem not the solution to weight loss. Snacking is usually on bad carb food choices, which you need to avoid until you are sworn in.
