Why do Cons love to forget inconvenient facts?

  • I think you're misunderstanding the word "conservative" as it is used in politics. It refers to any political view that either does not want to change the system or wants to revert to the way things were in the past. Hitler was conservative for German politics in the 1930's. The Tea Party is conservative for American politics today. They have very, very different outlooks and policies.

Fascism or Socialism would be a radical change in the United States, meaning it would be Liberal to us, but was not to the previously autocratic Germans in the 30's

"Conservative Coalition" tell me how. Hitler was for governental control of everything under the mask of nationalism. This is a left ideology that advocates the government as the solution of every problem, hence the term socialist, under the term Nazi party, (national socialist). Conservativism is the ideology of individual freedom that why the two term are diametrically opposed and have nothing to do with each other. The fact that Hitler was a socialist should raise alarm to the Democratic party, and should raise doubts as to what the Democratic party stands for, at least it should to any thinking person.

Hitler was a leftist. Stalin was a leftist. Franco was a leftist. Mussalini was a leftist. Chavez was a leftist. Are we seeing a trend?

And yes, Obama is also a leftist. We are fortunate, however, to have sufficient opposition in America so that he is not unchecked.

You mean like the current administration that occupies the white house ?

Liberals just cannot handle the truth. NAZI was short for "national socialist party." You are not clever at all.

The term NAZI is a German acronym for "Nationalist SOCIALIST Workers of Germany". And yes, the entire German economy was controlled my the NAZI government. These are all far left traits. Thumb me down if you hate the facts, but those are indeed the facts.

Being conservative in Europe, particularly old Europe, is a completely different ideology than conservatism in the United States.

To boil it down to absolute basics, in Europe, conservative basically means "tradition" or "status quo". Occasionally it can mean "nostalgia".

In America, at its basest level, conservative means "individual freedom".

Hitler did not believe in individual freedom, except for himself, and was therefore not a conservative by our modern American standards.

Hitler is equal to a left wing democrat.

Hitler was against big business, was for going green. Blamed capitalism , he believed in fair share, he was into redistribution but he kept it.

Also he targeted and wiped out many churches.
