How do you apply at an oil field in Texas?

My husband is trying to get a job for an oil field in Texas. (prerably in San Antonio, Odessa/Midland)

how would he do that? Everything online is just dead-end links.

    You can talk to the workers, find out who the operators and contractors are. You can also try Helmerich and Payne, Devon, Chesapeake, American Energy Partners, and Sandridge. Those are the big companies I can think of off the top of my head. Most of them are based in Oklahoma but they have rigs and wells running in Texas.

    He could ask some of the contractors as they get off work who the contract companies are so he can go apply at the offices.

    Usually the contract companies have trailers on the site where they can take applications.
