Does touching a girl make her like you?

So a few days ago I was at work (I work in retail) and this girl came up to me to put something in my cart. I took it from and unintentionally grabbed her hand while doing it. A day later I find a fortune cookie message at my workstation and it said and I quote: "Your charm has inspired a secret admirer." I'm not totally sure it's the same girl, since I know a few other girls like me. But she has been different to me lately. She now calls me by my name, (That's was the first time ever by the way), and suddenly asks me to do her favors, like taking something to the freezer while it's still cold etc. She also smiles while doing it and seems likes she's nervous. Does she like me now? And how does this happen? It was a simple touch to the hand.
