I'm thinking of adopting a cat, where do I start?
i have literally no idea about anything cat related, where do I start/get some good info? I'm looking at google atm, any good websites or any good books that'll get me ready?

You should do some research on what it's like to be a cat owner. Until you understand the costs and requirements of being a responsible owner, you are not ready to own a cat.
I would suggest you go to the SPCA in your town and talk to an adoption counselor.

are you ready for a cat? can you deal with cat scratches on furniture? can you deal with a litter box and scooping poop? cats are awesome pets but you better be responsible about them. I have a great book all about the types and care needed but I think I lost it...sorry
