any people who want to talk about this?

is there anyone here who has foregone committing suicide and regretted it? anybody here who has attempted suicide and failed and anyone who has thought about doing it and regretting not doing it after years of living (I sure do not want to tip the hand here) I hope everyone is stabilized and really balanced and not going to go off) but I am wondering has life been that "bad" that you have continued to live but regret it?

Update:

if you would add some detail to this as to why the regrets if you are able to do this thank you and please I hope everyone keeps living in their regret

Update 2:

i want to thank you all for your truthful enlightening answers thank you and be blessed all your lives

I think this question is in the wrong spot, but I am willing to answer it. Studies have been done about this subject. In nearly all cases, the person did not want to die, they simply wanted the pain to end. They do not regret being alive when the suicide attempt fails. They may not like that the pain of whatever they may be going through still being there. Making changes in your life is hard work, but you can overcome the pain if you are willing to work hard.

I, as many others, have contemplated suicide. Now I'm happy and I'm glad I was never close enough to actually do it.
