I was sitting at my table trying to think of a good name for a town where one of my characters has a car accident. I looked at my church bulletin and read "closing hymn" followed by "benediction" and put them together - Cloben.

Probably a really pretty pattern from my nosebleed in the sink. I ended up using it as a sigil for an organisation in my story ahahah.

BQ: A pocket watch I bought for my sister with the image of a metal kraken on the front.

    BQ2: I don't know! I noticed it too. It's pretty sad.

A few years ago I was going through a strong bout of depression, so I went out (After some extensive research) and bought myself a duckling. I named him Franklin, and watching him waddle around inspired me to write a short story on a funeral from a dead persons point of view. In no way do I affiliate ducks with funerals, so I have no how that whole thing happened, but it did. :)

Weirdest thing I got inspiration from would have to be from looking up at a dying tree...

BQ.) Looking at a dusty steampunk-themed cameo. I thought of a post-apocalyptic world that went back to the steampunk world.

    BQ#2.) Not sure...
