Do you think the suicide of Robin Williams will make people take the subject of depression more seriously ?

It seems like most of society believe depression is just a little sadness that will go away without any psychiatric help.

When someone says they are depressed, it is a sure sign they nerd help.

There might be, there might not.

Trying to understand how society works is like handcuffing an octopus. There are just too many.

Yes, definitely contemplating suicide is a sign you need help. But no, there is in fact very little people who think depression is just "a little sadness that will go away"

Believe it or not, there are more smart people in this world than stupid people, it's just that the stupid people are louder.

I have never, never in my almost 70 years of life heard so many people with depression. I think doctors convince people that is what they have just to sell drugs. Drugs are money makers. I had a friend who is a doctor and he wrote an article about how two many drugs are being used / misused for depression. I think it has a whole lot to do with if you have a happy life or miserable life.

Yes and no. I know a few people that have kind of had their eyes opened to it, and wanted to do something but everyone else is just like "oh he just had really really bad depression, it's not that bad for anyone else"
