How do you tell if you trimmed too much of the claw?

I feel like I did but my cat didn't seem to react at all and there is no sign of bleeding ?

if you cut the quick (the pink part) then it will start bleeding and that means it was too much. but if its not bleeding and your cat didnt react, your fine.

You did not cut your cat's claw too much. There is a blood vessel in the center part of the claw closest to the body, often called the "quick". If you cut a cat's claw too short, you will cut the quick and the claw will bleed. If there's no bleeding, then you did not cut the claw too short.
