Any good book recommendations?

School has started up again, and I need something to read so I don't die of boredom. Any suggestions? I loved the Hunger Games, and Maze Runner series. Also I like the classics as well, such as 1984.

Delirium (Delirium #1) by Lauren Oliver- Ninety-five days, and then I'll be safe. I wonder whether the procedure will hurt. I want to get it over with. It's hard to be patient. It's hard not to be afraid while I'm still uncured, though so far the deliria hasn't touched me yet. Still, I worry. They say that in the old days, love drove people to madness. The deadliest of all deadly things: It kills you both when you have it and when you don't.

Switched (Trylle #1) by Amanda Hocking- When Wendy Everly was six-years-old, her mother was convinced she was a monster and tried to kill her. It isn't until eleven years later that Wendy finds out her mother might have been telling the truth. With the help of Finn Holmes, Wendy finds herself in a world she never knew existed - and it's one she's not sure if she wants to be a part of.

The Summoning (Darkest Powers #1) by Kelley Armstrong- My name is Chloe Saunders and my life will never be the same again. All I wanted was to make friends, meet boys, and keep on being ordinary. I don't even know what that means anymore. It all started on the day that I saw my first ghost - and the ghost saw me.

The Knife of Never Letting Go (Chaos Walking #1) by Patrick Ness- Prentisstown isn't like other towns. Everyone can hear everyone else's thoughts in an overwhelming, never-ending stream of Noise. Just a month away from the birthday that will make him a man, Todd and his dog, Manchee -- whose thoughts Todd can hear too, whether he wants to or not -- stumble upon an area of complete silence. They find that in a town where privacy is imposs...

The Moon Dwellers (The Dwellers #1) by David Estes- In a desperate attempt to escape destruction decades earlier, humankind was forced underground, into the depths of the earth, creating a new society called the Tri-Realms. After her parents and sister are abducted by the Enforcers, seventeen-year-old Adele, a member of the middle-class moon dwellers, is unjustly sentenced to life in prison for her parents' crimes of treason.

Ship Breaker (Ship Breaker, #1) by Paolo Bacigalupi- In America's Gulf Coast region, where grounded oil tankers are being broken down for parts, Nailer, a teenage boy, works the light crew, scavenging for copper wiring just to make quota--and hopefully live to see another day. But when, by luck or chance, he discovers an exquisite clipper ship beached during a recent hurricane, Nailer faces the most important decision of his...

The Last Question by Isaac Asimov- The last question was asked for the first time, half in jest, on May 21, 2061, at a time when humanity first stepped into the light. The question came about as a result of a five dollar bet over highballs, and it happened this way ...

Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut- In Breakfast of Champions, one of Kurt Vonnegut’s most beloved characters, the aging writer Kilgore Trout, finds to his horror that a Midwest car dealer is taking his fiction as truth. What follows is murderously funny satire, as Vonnegut looks at war, sex, racism, success, politics, and pollution in America and reminds us how to see the truth....

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy #1) by Douglas Adams- Seconds before the Earth is demolished to make way for a galactic freeway, Arthur Dent is plucked off the planet by his friend Ford Prefect, a researcher for the revised edition of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy who, for the last fifteen years, has been posing as an out-of-work actor. Together this dynamic pair begin a journey through space aided by quotes from The Hi...

Some of my favourite books you might like:

The Scorpio Races - Maggie Stiefvater

    Wither - Lauren DeStefano

    Half Bad - Sally Green

    Unwind - Neal Shusterman

I Hunt Killers - Barry Lyga

1Q84 - Haruki Murakami (the title is played off of 1984 and the feel of the book is a lot like 1984)

Anything by Fitzgerald is great if you like The Great Gatsby! Hemingway, the Brontes, Leo Tolstoy, the list is endless. A lot of classics are absolutely phenomenal - that's why they're classics!
