Can I delete or stop the annoying ads that pop up on the right side of the screen?

When I am looking at questions there are ads that pop up on the right side of the screen with moving pictures. They are annoying to see out of the corner of my eyes and very distractive. Any way to stop the movement?

Update:

It is not the actual ads that bother me - it is the constant annoying movement (non-stop movement) that is really irritating. I can disregard the ad if it is still. Any ideas? Thanks!

Update 2:

Thanks for the answers. I am not that tech savvy so I don't understand all the options you gave but I noticed the small symbol on the upper right and clicked on it which gave me the option to delete the ad. So I did and it gave me the option to tell them why. I did and the ad is now gone. Thanks again - best answer to come.

Update 3:

After I complained a few times why and also indicated that the ad was annoying and distracting the message is no longer being seen. I did this by clicking on the symbol at the top of the ad. I don't know who saw it but I am glad it is finally gone. I hope it stays gone. I appreciate the answers and will be looking into all the suggestions mentioned. Thanks!

if your botted, there is a never ending spawn of advertisements, you will never moderate them out.

If your running NT and didnt confgure it to run disable it. maybe that wil fix the ad problems.

YOu can get free adblockers, IF your not botted away from the legit sites, and to the sites your hacker favors.
