Why is this cat so clingy?
It's my boyfriend's roommate's cat. She just recently stopped being in heat and now she's been outside my boyfriend's bedroom door crying to get in for over 14 hours now. Even if we got fed up in the middle of the night and chased her away, she'd be back 5 minutes later. We let her in yesterday afternoon and she was insanely needy and obsessed with being pet. We gently kicked her out of the room after she drooled on my $130 text book (she drools when she kneads). Wtf is going on with this cat it's getting kinda weird and I'm worried something is wrong.

Well, being alone for 14 hours might have something to do with it, don't you think? You are competing with your boyfriend's cat. That's ridiculous. You can't win. Make friends with it and call it good.
