Baked beans and tinned tomatoes on toast? Nice?
Just (ie no herbs or spices or prolonged cooking) baked beans, tinned tomatoes, and toast. Optional: add canned sweetcorn.
A friend of mine reckons this is nice.
Does anyone agree?

Yeah skin heads on a raft not bad at all, never tried adding tomatoes though, sounds OK.

My mother made creamed peas on toast, or she would make them and toss in a can of tuna or salmon, BB on toast is a popular UK dinner, as after the war meat was scarce, I like canned tomatoes with a bit of olive oil, salt and pepper, garlic, mixed herbs a sprinkle of sugar and either warm or cold, I made a scalloped tomato casserole as a chef, with CT, croutons the same seasoning as before, and baked it with a bit of Parmesan and Mozzarella cheese in the oven until bubbly, it is a nice quick meal, plus canned tomatoes have more lycopene than fresh so there better for you..

The 3 things together on toast sound kind of bland and soggy to me.But you would get 2-3 servings of veg on a budget if you ate a large plateful.
Sounds like someone who isn't interested in cooking or taste, just food as fuel- which is fine! Cheap nutrition food on this website.

Sounds fine to me. Quick, cheap, filling and reasonably nutritious, especially if it's a good whole grain bread.
