How do you clean a flat panel TV (the screen) safely and without leaving haze or streaks?

Manual says use a damp soft cloth - no cleaners. Have tried this many times - it always leaves behind a haze and streaks. Wondering what other people do/use.

Wow, good question. And I'm sure the above answers are good ones. But I see a marketing product that is untapped. Invent one for TV screens and remember me when the royalties roll in.

The soft cloths for cleaning eye glasses will clean the screen.

Source(s): We brought some from Wal Mart from where you buy the eye glasses.

use the same cleaner that you would use to clean eye glasses. they usually come in small spry cans or little wet wipes. i use these products all the time and have great success.

Use the same stuff you use on your computer monitor. The flat-screen is the same thing, only bigger.
