Why does my car make a humming noise then shut off when it s too cold?

Every time I go out, as soon as I start driving it makes this humming noise and my engine will start to act up and shut off. It s annoying because this usually happens, most often in cold weather. I let my car warm up for at least 7 minutes but it has no effect. I ve tried putting power steering fluid and also used gas treatment but that doesn t seem to do anything either. I ve put more anti-freeze in and still doesn t work. Does it need an oil change or something? Please help me out.

I have a 2004 Ford Taurus by the way.

You need a mechanic not a oil change. That shows what you know about engines so stop wasting time and money and have someone that knows what they are doing have a look at it.
