im losing weight quite fast?

I've put on quite a bit of weight over christmas and was 121lb on friday before i decided to start losing some weight (im 17, 5ft2). I've been out running twice and consumed the same amount of calories as before about 1800 a day, just quite a bit healthier, like i'll have an apple at break instead of a doughnut. But, I weighed myself again today (tuesday) and i've lost 9lbs! Wtf is it meant to be this easy? And more importantly is it healthy to be losing weight this fast?

    That is quit fast! Be careful and enjoy the progress! I think your calorie counts may be off. Eating 1800 shouldn't make you lose 9lbs that quickly but maybe the foods you are eating are much better and healthier.

    I say you should pat yourself on the shoulders! Losing weight is incredibly difficult.

    Make sure you don't restrict too much.
