Please help!!! My male cat is constantly trying to mate with his sister who is also around 6 months old?

In the past couple of days it appears my kitten has gone into estrus (heat) she is rolling allover the floor and rubbing against furniture. and just 2 days ago she started rubbing her butt and moving her tale to the side to my male cat which is her brother (1 years of age) and making this strange noise almost like a purr but louder, anyway my male cat has got on top of my female a few times now biting her neck and ears, I've isolated the female from the male a few times and he keeps chasing her and making that strange noise, please help is it ok for them to mate? Will it kill my female or the kittens she may produce?

I must mention my female cat is extremely small, I don't think she could handle kittens of her own

Get both of them to the vet and get the male neutered and the female spayed,if you do not you will be up to your ears in kittens, and as they are both brother and sister the kittens will be sickly, maybe deformed, and yes, at 6 months old she will have a tough time having the kittens, for all these reasons the cats should have been neutered by now! get a grip and be a responsible pet owner, your female cat may already be pregnant!

Please do not allow your cats to mate. The female probably could have the kittens, but they may be still born or die because the mom is so young. The biggest reason not to allow mating is that there are thousands of cats and kittens put down every day because they are unwanted. Or feral cats and kittens that are killed or die because they are not wanted. Just get your male cat neutered. It is not expensive and not a major surgery.

    A. Neuter both cats because cats that are fixed typically have longer lives.

    B. It is also a dominance thing between animals when one humps the other

    C. Once that girl cat starts going into heat and moaning and screaming after a few heats and rubbing her vagina on the ground like a drunken prom queen you will be calling the vet anyway

You need to keep them separated until they get fixed. Check the local animal shelters they can have it done for cheaper. My local shelter charges $50 for a Male and $60 for a female.

Geezus no of course it's not "OK" for them to mate and especially with her being only SIX MONTHS OLD. WTF is wrong with you?

If you can't afford to alter these kittens then give them up to a no-kill shelter RIGHT NOW.
