How do I get my cat to eat olive oil?

He's a little constipated but it's nothing too crazy, I just want him to be able to comfortably poop until I get paid and can take him to his vet for an xray (which will tell me that nothing's wrong but I know I should do it anyway). I added a quarter tbsp to his favourite wet food and he won't touch it. Now what do I do??

Update:

My cat doesn't like pumpkin or olive oil... and I can't afford to buy any more things for him right now.. ugh!!!

Cats eat common lawn grass when the feel the need.

You do not want the results of Olive Oil. The creature will have no control over its bowels. Which means .... all over the place.

Use Tuna fish oil/water if anything. When you make yourself some sandwiches.

You can also try canned pumpkin (not the pie filling), miralax and fish oil. Miralax wont change the smell, taste or texture so he shouldn't have any issues with it. Try 1/8 teaspoon a day. If necessary you can give 1/4 teaspoon a day.

add some salmon oil to the food, to make it more appetizing. if that still doesn't work then add a smaller amount of olive oil, and more salmon oil

pumpkin is better. easier to get them to eat also. just mix a teaspoon of unsweetened, canned pumpkin in with some wet food. it's a stool regulator, meaning if they're loose it firms them up, if they are constipated is softens.
