Can anybody give me your two cents about the following verses?

I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. (‭Luke‬ ‭17‬:‭34-36‬ KJV)

It's describing the Great Tribulation,No rapture

    These people did not disappear

    Exodus 19:4

4 ‘You have seen for yourselves what I did to the Egyptians,+ in order to carry you on wings of eagles and bring you to myself.+

    Revelation 12:14

14 But the two wings of the great eagle+ were given to the woman, so that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is to be fed for a time and times and half a time*+ away from the face of the serpent.+

    Deuteronomy 32:9-12

    9 For Jehovah’s people are his portion;+

    Jacob is his inheritance.+

10 He found him in a wilderness land+

And in an empty, howling desert.+

He protectively encircled him, took care of him,+

And safeguarded him as the pupil of his eye.+

11 Just as an eagle stirs up its nest,

    Hovers over its fledglings,

Spreading out its wings, taking them,

    Carrying them on its pinions,+

12 Jehovah alone kept leading him;*+

EDIT: During the Great Tribulation, Jehovah will take care of his people

Its a direct reference to the events of Revelation when God would send his angels to claim his elect. The wicked would die and be lost for eternity.

Mat 13:40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

    Mat 13:41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

Mat 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Mat 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

It speaks of the rapture. At that point in time no one but Jesus knew that it was possible for it to be day and night at the same moment of time.

How long was it that people thought this was one of those errors in the Bible?

that is one of the passages referring to the Rapture........those who had ( at that time, and have onwards ) accepted Jesus as their Savior will be in the Rapture ; those who have denied Him will be left behind

Verse is misquoted. The women will be grinding at the same mill, not grinding together.

It's referring to the rapture -- up-gathering of all believers -- it will be sudden -- the twinkling of an eye -- people will simply disappear leaving their clothes behind them.
