Why does everyone hate me?
Today at school we had a minutes silence for the people who were shot in Tunisia.
My friends stomach made a really strange noise and we both started laughing during the minutes silence and after it had finished our whole class was saying loads of sh*t about us.
It's obvious that we weren't laughing at the fact that people died but they are giving us grief even on social media.
I don't get why they are being so awful to us.

Obviously, your laughter was involuntary and wasn't your fault, but you can understand how laughter during a moment of silence can be interpreted as a very disrespectful act.
I think it would be wise move to write an apologetic status on your Facebook or whatever social media you may use explaining what happened, and saying you regret laughing. You may not like it, but you are going to have to apologise in a sincere way so people see that you weren't trying to be disrespectful, and you're willing to make proper amends.

Cause there is a time and place for everything! Even laughing it was not the right time! Lets say people got shot/hurt (not that I want that to happen) at your school and you get shot! Would you want people to laugh in your minutes of silence no matter what was funny! EVEN your friends stomach was a time and a place! That goes back to a time and place for laughing!
