What benefits can i get if i buy a Chromecast?

Chromecast is essentially a streaming stick controlled by the apps on your phone or tablet (the computer add on is really buggy). Basically it gives you the same functionality and apps that come on 90% of DVD/BluRay players (minus the disk playing). Other than that it doesn't necessarily have any added benefits over another brand. Its really just a generic streaming stick controlled by your phone (the other two big ones [amazon,roku] are remote controlled)
