I am definitely trying to be!
Jesus gave his ample reason to prove ourselves ready! "Keep looking, keep awake, for you do not know when the appointed time is.” (Mark 13:33) Jesus gave that warning when discussing the sign that would mark the conclusion of this wicked system of things. Consider the concluding words to Jesus’ great prophecy as recorded by Mark: “Keep on the watch, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming, whether late in the day or at midnight or at cockcrowing or early in the morning; in order that when he arrives suddenly, he does not find you sleeping. But what I say to you I say to all, Keep on the watch.”—Mark 13:35-37.
So, like many others, I work to "keep awake" by staying alert to world events in alignment with Bible prophecy, I stay vigilant with a view to my prayers, I stay busy doing the Lord's work, I am constantly trying to improve myself, living more in line with God's righteous principles while looking to Jesus as my exemplar. Truthfully, the list goes on and on but they all relate to my love for God. So, the core of my motivation is to continually increase in my love to God because that will help me remain focused on the end goal. After all, 1 John 5:3 defines love of God this way: "For this is what the love of God means, that we observe his commandments; and yet his commandments are not burdensome"
I hope you are working to do the same!

Jesus is not coming again into this world. He came a second time on Easter Sunday. He is not coming a third time.

Ready as I'll ever be!
Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!” Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.” (John 20:28-29)

They have been making this same claim for hundreds and hundreds of years and still don't understand that the bible states it is not for man to know. Read your instruction book please, I am so tired of you attempting to validate your belief with the end of mankind!
