I tend to take my dogs to my vet, but I DON'T go near my GP if possible! The trouble with UK GPs is they are really only a clearing house these days and more often than not, you'll find yourself sent off to your local Hospital where a 'little twinge' may become a big twinge!!
It's up to you because on the other hand, if you ignore this, you may be ignoring something that WILL become a big twinge = serious.
