My cat stopped using the litter box help!?
We moved a few months ago to a new house. At the old house and up till 2 months ago she quit using the litter box and started peeing in the corner of the living room. We clean her box regularly, rub her nose it, and place her back in the litter box. And now she just peed on my bed; I am so frustrated because it seems like nothing is working and I'm seriously thinking about getting rid of her (even though I don't really want to).
Why is this happening and what do I do to make this stop?
Also on a side note, best way to get cat piss out of a mattress?

I would try putting a cone on her. For some reason, that worked for my cat who wouldn't only pee on my mattress, clothes, bags ect. After I put the cone on, she knew who was boss, so to say.
To get cat pee out of a mattress, I'd go to a pet store and pick up some enzyme cleaners. I've tried initially baking soda to soak everything up, and then vinegar to neutralize the smell. It works okay, but the other house cats can still certainly smell it and often look tempted to go to the washroom in the same place. I find that's just a temporary fix, enzyme cleaners I've heard work much better, since that is what they're designed for.

Rubbing an anima'sl nose in their mess doesn't help, it just shows the animal that you are not a person to trust.
Get the cat at least one more box, use a cat attract litter on it, and stop punishing the cat.
There is no way to get anything out of a mattress, that is why you get a mattress protector when you get the mattress.
