In what year and what law did the Pennsylvania legislature make slavery illegal? Please do not tell me the gradual emancipation law of 1780?
I've asked this question before but people want to tell me something they obviously know nothing about or revert me to the 1780 law. I've looked this up already but keep getting the 1780 law. The 1780 law gradually emancipated Pennsylvanian slaves but did not officially end slavery. I know for a fact that happened through the Pennsylvanian legislature sometime during the civil war. Again, the question is NOT when did Pennsylvanian slaves cease to exist, it is when did the PA legislature make slavery illegal?

By 1860, there were no slaves in Pennsylvania (at least, none that the government officially knew about). In that year, PA passed the second liberty law, outlawing use of state facilities or officials to enforce the federal
Fugitive Slave Act, among other protections.

The fact you REFUSE the correct answer is not something we can fix. You CAN'T know for a fact that the Pennsylvania legislature took ANY action if you can't cite that law yourself. You BELIEVE they did, and you may even be right, but if you can't cite the law, you DO NOT know for a fact they did.
