Need help on psychology homeworl?

Taking an online course and I have a project about stress. I have been trying to find info but haven't been able to find anything. I covered the first two but can't find any alternative stress responses

In this section, please include client-friendly information on the Fight or Flight Response, the General Adaptation Syndrome (GAS) and any Alternative Stress Responses that you might discover.

    Our body responds to stress in different ways:

    The fight-or-flight response is an automatic/autonomic physiological response to stress. When a dangerous or threatening event occurs, such as when you're walking down an alley at night and an individual steps in front of you holding a knife and demands you to give him/her your money, you can either choose to fight the person off, give your money away, or run away completely. Before any of this happens, your SYMPATHETIC division of your nervous system kicks in, preparing the body and heart/glands to increase in activity. Your pupils dilate, and you're usually surprised. Afterwards, when the attacker goes away or if you run away, the PARASYMPATHETIC nervous system calms your body down, depressing the high heart rate and contracting your pupils.

    Hans Seyle's General Adaptation Syndrome (GAS) is also a physiological response to stress. There are 3 main phases: Alarm, Resistance, and Exhaustion. Alarm is pretty self-explanatory; we are alarmed at the event or series of events. But in this phase, we actually perform better under stress. In the Resistance stage, we try and calm ourselves down (parasympathetic nervous system). Our body also adapts to the stress as well. In the Exhaustion stage, the stress has continued for some time, and our body's resistance to stress is gradually decreasing. This therefore causes the body to become more susceptible to disease, as the nervous and immune system are weakened. We also perform worse under stress.

    I'm not sure about the Alternative Stress Responses one, but that just sounds like if our primary stress response fails, then we resort or use another response.
