Can I trickle charge a Power Wheels 6v battery?

Yes... with extreme caution. I trickle charge a Power Wheels battery with my car charger. It does not have a set voltage (6v vs 12v), but it trickles at 2 amps. I set the battery outside to charge just in case, because the chemicals are toxic and flammable. The battery is warm the next morning and has a slight budge to it but it is fully charged.

I lost the charger to my kid's battery powered 4 wheeler. The battery is 6v and has all these warnings about only using genuine parts, explosions, toxic gases, etc.

I have a trickle charger for my car, but has a 6v (2 amp setting). Could that work just as well?
