Very destructive cat that bites everything, please help?
Our cat is about 6 months old, we got her 4 months ago. She was a very shy and scared kitten but took to us pretty fast. She was 2 months old when we got her.
Anyway, she is possibly the most destructive cat I have ever come across. She has destroyed practically everything in the house: DVD player, couch, coffee table, pooped in expensive tablecloths (even though her litterbox is always clean) destroyed shoes, clothes, important papers, the printer, a laptop, all the chords and cables we have, we used to have a DVD collection but not anymore (she knocks them all down and chews on them) TV remotes, decorative ornaments have been chewed to oblivion.
I wish this was my only problem. She bites and scratches everybody, mostly me. I spend all my time with her, play with her, feed her, pet her, but she practically charges at as soon as she sees me, to bite or scratch me. And I am not talking little nips, I mean she draws blood and I invariably get hives because of it. We started clipping her nails which is awful. She spits and hisses and bites and scratches every inch of my fiance as she can, when he's cutting her nails. He has grown up with cats and has experience with clipping their nails. I've had 7 cats in my life, none like this. We can never sit down in the living room, she'll leap up and sit next to me for about half a second then bite hard and run away. She has a scratching post, lots of toys, fish flavored chew toys, lasers that we use, the cat fishing pole toys etc.
Oh and she's completely healthy
7 month old cat not 6 sorry

Wow, she sounds like a real handful! The problem I see here is that most vets and cat people included will dismiss this behavior as simply being a nightmare of a kitten. I guess the question I have for you is this: how do you play with her? She may not be responsive to the play because she has a taste for destruction now and is hooked on things that are NOT her toys. Do you give her things to destroy on purpose? When my kitty when through his crazy destructive phase (still kind of on it, actually) I would just give him crap that we didn't care about anymore, like old shoes, stuffed animals, boxes, just things we really couldn't care less about and let him go to town. It got out his need to 1. Seek out things we actually use and 2. Get out all the aggression that was building up.
As an experienced cat owner, I'm sure this is a real shock for you and a head-scratcher to boot. Just curious if she wouldn't do better with more aggressive play time, maybe? Or something might have just "snapped" in her brain and she's going through the terrible kitty teens early?
I'm really trying to help here; as you know, most kittens go through that phase (even if it's one week out of their kittenhood) where they are just unholy godless nightmares and can't be stopped...I just wonder what's causing this :(

Maybe she doesn´t get enough attention. I know you said you play with her, but how often is that? Try taking a string (like yarn) and have one end loose and run around with it dragging behind you. She will get more exercise and she may enjoy it more. Just make sure when you aren't playing with her and watching her that you hide it really well in a place she will never be able to get it even if she knows where it is. Also NEVER use fish line if a cat gets into it it can tangle up in their stomach and intestines and kill them.

Chewing on things is a sign of pica. This needs a vet's treatment.
IT really just sounds like your cat is bored. Cats don' just entertain themselves, when they do things like this happen. she has so much pent up energy that she outright attacks everybody because she has to do something, and she is made to hunt, so she does.
Play with her more often. Play with her with a toy on a string on a stick. Let her hunt the toy, and play with her until she is panting. Take a break, then go at it again. do this until she is tired, and then go to bed. This will help with her constant energy levels.

Your cat may be bored try more play time and add cat trees and walkways to explore. Boxes and cat walks will get her attention.
