How much voltage should I apply to a fuel injector when cleaning them?

04 Ford Mustang V6 4.8 or 3.9 L.

    How are you cleaning it? The correct process is to clean with the engine idling, pulling the fuel pump relay and using a container with the injector cleaner as the fuel supply.

    If you have a 5 volt adapter from an old computer device lying around you could use that. 12V is too high, all car computers limit current and switch through a driver circuit so they never really see raw 12V when in a car.

    9 volt battery will due. rapidly tap the connection to make it open and close like it normally would while also spraying into it. dont give it power when theres no fluid going through it
