My aunt s room-mate was yelling so aggressively@ her that my aunt s blood pressure went so high she had heart attack. Can we sue room-mate?
Can my aunt's family sue the room-mate for causing distress to the point that she had a heart attack? I was there and my aunt kept a quiet and respectful tone until she passed out during her room-mates yelling.

If your aunt's health is so precarious that someone's yelling at her makes her pass out then your aunt needs to make some changes in her life. Getting a new roommate would be a good start. And then taking charge of her own health by losing weight and exercising would be next. If she smokes then she needs to quit smoking. Seeing a physician and following doctor's advise also.
So sure you can sue - anyone can pretty well sue over anything but it won't get you anywhere in this case.

Your aunt can sue but, it does not mean she will win the case. She "chose" to have this person live with her. She is responsible for her own decisions. Anyway, passing out is physically recoverable, not by law but, it sounds like your aunt was alright so, what is there to sue over? A hurt ego?

No. If your Aunt was in that poor of shape, her coronary condition was a ticking time bomb that would have gotten her soon after anyway.
