Is it rude to bring my own condiments/sauce to someone house ?

Its not about their cooking, its just that I do not want to eat if I cant add tabasco or certain sauces of my choice, so would hosts be offended if I do this

I guess it partly depends on how well you know the person. If they're a close friend and they realize that you can only eat foods that taste a specific way then they'll be cool with it.

However, I think that a lot of people would be offended because they would assume that you were inadvertently criticizing their cooking. However, if you explain then maybe they would understand. But some people are more easily offended than others anyway.

Personally, I wouldn't care. I have a friend that puts ranch on literally everything she eats so if she came over for dinner and poured it all over her food, I'd understand.

I would be insulted if you did that and didn't leave the condiments as a gift! But I really hate people who cover up my hard work in the kitchen with anything I didn't put on it!! I do not have salt pepper ketchup tabasco etc on the table even for breakfast!!

Some people may get miffed, some may not.

I don't know why in the world ANYONE would care one single bit, but there are some who are just....well....different!

I wouldn't have a problem at all unless you didn't bring enough for me in case I want to try some!

I'd be offended if someone felt they had to slather hot sauce all over the meal I just slaved over for 3 hours.

In a restaurant, then no. But if it were in my house and I spent 3 hours on a dish just to see you dump Tabasco on top of it, then hell yes. You would not be invited back to my home for dinner.

Not if you share, be prepared to do that. Don't ever attempted that at a 4 star or better restaurant.

It would be very rude. If someone has graciously asked you to eat in their home, then you da.mn well eat what has been put infront of you. If you were to ever do that in my home you would never be asked back again.

I would, But I would have Salt & Pepper on the table and if not hot enough would add Paprica or Cayenne Pepper if requested
